13:40 – 14:30                   Registration

Instructions

Step 1:  Registration and mingle (13:45 - 14:30)

Assuming that everybody arrives at different times the suggestion is that registration is continuous upon arrival. Available participant list is printed out from shared folder from Dropbox.

Documentation: Registration form + photograph of all the speed-dating participants

Set: Table for registration, gold drapes at entrance, speed-ating kit, welcome drinks

Registrations desk: (Corridor outside classroom)

Check in your arrival at the registrations desk and receive your dating kit:

- Notepad ( one page per date, dubbel sided.)

- Name tag: (your characters first name) “(your real first name)” (gold animal in flirt aid kit)

-  Colormark DIY accessorize your character

Take registration photo:

Stand on the X and in front of gold drapes and have your photo taken.

Receive a welcome drink and mingle with other speed-date participants

Step 2: Speed-dating session (14.30 - 14.45)

We give instructions for the day as everyone is seated at the dating table.

Set: Dim lighting, candle lighting, long table with seats on each side. Camera at the far end of the table

Before we start:
Documentation: Host ask which participants want to set up phone on table for recording

1) Your speed-dating host will show your your seat.

2) Make sure to write down your own name on your notepad. Use notepad for dating.

4) The person opposite is your speed dating partner.

5) Each speed dating session is 3 minutes short.

6) After completed date you move to the seat to your right.

7) There will be 1 minute between dates to move to the next seat and complete your notes.

Procedure for dating:
Documentation: One camera at the end of the table will record the couple sitting at date-seat 1.

1.                  Introduction

Introduce yourself as your character as written on your nametag to your dating partner. Write down your dating partners name in your notepad.

2.                  Speed date (You will have 3 minutes for each date.)

Take turns bringing up your questions/comments. You may not have time to ask all of your questions, so feel free to pick and choose what question you start with and how long you spend on it.

If you get through all your questions before time is up, please keep discussing your experiences of the guided tour of the bergamo row house with each other.

Take notes or make a drawing or whatever reaction your partner causes for you.

3.                   Score card

Be sure to score your partner. You have one page per partner and the pads are double sided.

4.                  Date switch (There is 1 min to switch seats and complete your notes until next date)

When time is up at the sound of the bell - we will move one step to the right after every date and that is how you end up across from a new partner every time.

When the person at the far end of the table is at the other end, the speed dating is over.

After the session you will use your experiences from the dating session in the colletive discussion, so pay attention. But have fun and go for it. 

After the session you will all hand us your notepads, so keep that in mind.

Step 3: Break Romantic “dinner” (14:45 - 15:15)

Set: Candel lit buffé table with portions of “refreshments mood-kits”on golden plates to be served at the dating table.

Some refreshments will be served at the dating table – and time to go over notes and interact with the others.

Step 4: Group session (15:00 - 16:00)

Set: Round circle of chairs and candles on floor.

After the session you will use your experiences from the dating session in the colletive discussion.

Introduce your character and tell us who you would like to continue dating and why.
